Gujarat NEET UG Counselling

The medical and dental admission rounds for the 85% State Quota, Management Quota (MQ), and NRI seats in Gujarat are directed online by ACPUGMEC (Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses).

Different other states, Gujarat follows a unique verification mechanism connecting online PIN purchase and mandatory physical document submission at designated Help Centres. Candidates must complete the following chronological phases

Step 1: Online PIN Purchase & Token Fee Payment

The state counselling process officially starts with the start of the PIN distribution link on the official ACPUGMEC admission portal.

• Candidates must pay a non-refundable tracking/processing token fee online.
• Upon successful payment, the system generates a unique 5-digit PIN along with a User ID and Password.
• This credential set acts as the primary validation profile for all subsequent admission rounds.

Step 2: Online Registration & Profile Setup

After securing the PIN, candidates must navigate back to the portal registration panel and enter their core credentials:

• Unique 5-digit PIN, NEET UG 2026 Roll Number, and Application Number.
• Personal identification data, communication metrics, and academic aggregate scores.
• Applicants must carefully select their reservation categories (Open, SEBC, EWS, SC, or ST) and upload clear scanned copies of original qualification documents.

Step 3: Appointment Booking & Help Center Physical Verification

This is the most critical and separate phase of Gujarat medical counselling. Online registration alone does not funding eligibility.

• After submitting the online application, applicants must generate and print a Registration Slip.
• The portal will open an selection slot booking matrix. Candidates must select a suitable date, time slot, and their nearest official Chosen Help Centre (usually located at Government or GMERS Medical Colleges).
• Physical Reporting: The candidate must visit the chosen Help Centre in person with their Registration Slip and all unique files. The directorial verification officer will validation the documents, retain photocopies, and issue a stamped Verification Slip.

Step 4: Publication of State Merit List

Once the Help canter following desks complete document assessment, ACPUGMEC processes the verified database to compile the Provisional State Merit List.

• This register ranks candidates strictly on their NEET UG score percentages while separating them into distinct category sub-trees.
• Candidates are given a brief complaint window to report clerical rank mismatch issues before the final merit framework is frozen.

Step 5: Mock Round Choice Filling & System Trial

Before the actual seat assignment rules are applied, ACPUGMEC runs a compulsory Mock Round.

• Candidates’ login to their dashboard and create an ordered list of preferred medical colleges and seat types (e.g., GMC Government Quota, GMERS Management Quota).
• The system completes a trial allocation script based on these submissions.
• The Benefit: The Mock Round results show students where they truthfully stand to get admitted based on their current merit rank. No real seats are finalized during this trial phase, and candidates can freely shuffling or add new choices afterward.

Step 6: Actual Round 1 Choice Locking & Final Seat Allotment

Following the mock round modifications, the actual Round 1 choices are acknowledged and frozen by the user.

• The system executes the official matrix routing engine, identical your merit rank to available college slots.
• The final seat allotment list is published on the portal, and matching candidates receive an downloadable Allotment Letter.

Step 7: Tuition Fee Payment & Reporting at Help Center

 Mandatory Rule for Aspirants: If a applicant fails to verify their original documents at a selected Help Center during Step 3, or fails to deposit their tuition fee and original certificates during Step 7, their registration is directly canceled, and they are disqualified from subsequent standard counselling rounds.
